The 1.5 TSI engine of the Golf VII provides 96 kW of maximum power. The vehicle we analysed is equipped with an DQ200 7-speed automatic transmission. The Volkswagen group has also equipped several Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda vehicles with the same engine. The Alientech technicians have been able to balance the modifications to the original file in order to obtain an incredible increase in performance without damaging the mechanical components.

The Volkswagen Golf VII with a petrol engine is a staple for performance enthusiasts. Alientech technicians analysed the characteristics of the Volkswagen 1.5l TSI engine and developed a tuning procedure that makes it perform even better!

Our standard tuning procedure, created over many years of experience in the field, was applied to the Golf VIII equipped with a Bosch MG1CS011 control unit, thus creating a specific procedure that guarantees both solid vehicle reliability and a good increase of performance, despite the automatic transmission.

In less than an hour, this example will show you the other Volkswagen group vehicles that are compatible with this kind of tuning procedure! Satisfy the needs of a greater pool of clients and start your own growth path! This example not only involves a step-by-step tuning procedure, but it also includes a set of highly specific technical information, which is essential for a proper tuning career.

Moreover, there won’t be any unpleasant surprises in the result: after remapping the Golf VII, we tested the car on bench, and the results, shown in the last section of the example, are guaranteed!

This example is simple, effective and safe: what are you waiting for? Enter the Alientech Academy world and use our tuning examples whether you are a beginner or an expert tuner.

One lesson of about 50 minutes, composed by 3 sections:

First section:

in this part of the example we will describe the characteristics of the vehicle by listing version, equipment, year of production, traction and type of gearbox. Then, we indicate all the vehicles – even of different car manufacturers – equipped with the same engine or similar version; immediately after, the specifications of the engine control unit will be specified in detail: that is the identification data and the versions for the emission classes. In addition, we talk about the types of connection with Alientech tools – which are useful for the remapping – by indicating the protocols of use, the available functions and giving some practical advice for editing operations. Finally, the structure of the original file is presented by indicating the addresses and the various areas.

Second section:

this part directly addresses the remapping practice. After a brief introduction, we present the summary list of the maps that will be modified, the Alientech modification method and its specific application to the vehicle in question. Following the wizard of this remapping practice, you will be able to create a mapping that will ensure high performance and guaranteed reliability.

Third section:

this last part is dedicated to the discovery of the potentialities of this remapping practice: the new increases, compared to the original settings of the vehicle in a precise and detailed chart, clarify efficaciously how this remapping practice is effective and surprising.
